just in time for valentines day we launched the new website for mr cook, our favourite florist in sydney.
as part of the new brand and identity work done by sml, the creation of an online space was a necessary progression to expand the business. those unable to visit the fabulous double bay store, can view the extensive floral gallery, see what is
in season each month and enjoy a seamless ordering experience. the identity series appears on the home page, introducing the site and capturing the colourful essence of mr cook. the gorgeous images that follow, all shot by andrew lehman,
are the next best thing to real.

BEHAVIOUR CHANGE PARTNERS IDENTITY
sml recently created the identity for behaviour change partners, a new advertising agancy that uses a behavioural theory
to inspire creative ideas. in the words of principal, paul fishlock, "we spend a lot of time articulating how we move people from a current behaviour to a new bahaviour. spotting the aligned 'a's in the name and making them arrows is both relevant and elegant - not just a logo but a brand device we can use right across the business."

sml designer wendy cho has an interest beyond the computer that we wanted to share - her beautiful hand crafted series
of cards and works on paper. the finely detailed series are both minimal and complex in their structure. starting out small
with a card collection, wendy is working her way up to large scale canvasses and walls soon... will keep you posted...

we recently completed a project for wood+co - the new fashion recruitment company established by industry leader
jenny wood - with a new name, identity, stationery suite and website. in a field where discretion and trust are essential,
the identity and site had to reflect jenny's knowledge and experience while retaining an element of understatement.
we think the site captures perfectly jenny's minimalist style and chic.

NIKE LIVE EVENT
a recent installation for nike winter 12 involved inhabiting an entire beachfront house in bronte with seven of their favourite athletes and the winter 12 collections. the housewarming event generated plenty of media and you can follow some of the blogs on the links below. check out the project images in : work / live nike.

WHO IS MR COOK?
mr cook is sean cook - the newest name to know in floral design. we are really excited about the opening of his new store in double bay sydney. it is overflowing with the most gorgeous flowers of the day, always with something unexpected.
